I'm a big boy now

My FAVORITE thing to do right now is sit up! I sit up and grab my feet, sit up and spit up and sit up and look cute. 

It was fun while it lasted

 According to my daddy, Double Dip Doppler, we may finally be done with the snow but boy did we have fun while it lasted. I got to wear my 2nd snow suit that Grandpa and Grandma Brooking got me because my first one from Grandma Mason and Auntie Karis is already too small!

Is it really all gone? 

5 months old!

For my 5th month birthday I am sporting a sweet jacket. Check it out! 

I also got a brand new chair from Grammi. I fit perfectly in it! 

Here we go again!

It's almost March and we are getting hit with another round of snow. Thank goodness my daddy is a Doppler expert and keeps up on when and how much we'll be getting. Today it was so pretty, we felt like we were in a snow globe! 

I was so ready to go out in it! I love this white stuff, maybe just as much as my daddy!

Grandmother's house we go!

For my 5 month birthday I went to my Grandma's house in Des Moines. Not Iowa, but near the airport. I've been there once before but never to spend the night, so this was pretty big for me. She has an entire nursery set up for me and it's awesome! Nice fluffy blankets, a comfortable crib and this giant rocker that we cuddle in. I had a blast! I even slept through the night there so mom and dad got a nice break, I'm sure they appreciated that. 

My Grandma, Auntie, mom and dad kept saying I was such a big boy because I was sitting in this chair along side the counter. I thought these spoons were pretty fun.

Love my Auntie

I sure love my Auntie Karis! She is so nice and has beautiful hands, I love her hands! She came up from Santa Fe for a couple weeks and she gets to stay with us some. She hasn't seen me since I was just about a week old, I'm so big now! The best thing....she brought me a super duper cool toy. I love to chew on it, it makes my gums feel better, they have been bugging me lately because I guess I get teeth at some point. Not sure why I need them but I'm sure I'll figure that out soon enough. Thanks Auntie for the toy! 

Love my Grandma

I sure love my Grandma! I'm so lucky. I get to see her once a week and she even gets to spend the night! She is so funny! She likes to tickle me all over and play funny games with me. She also sings to me which I think is pretty funny too. I miss her when she is gone but I always remember I'll see her again in a week! Lucky me:)

Daddy Fun

Little does Daddy know, I'm just playing it up for the camera.  He thinks that he is making me laugh and giggle, but really I just want camera time.  Anyone watching this out there, I'm ready to sign a contract to be the "token" cute baby on the next TV show.  (I've seen Lily on Modern Family and I know I could do a better job of looking at the camera.)  I do have some requirements though: I need at least two naps throughout the day (whenever and wherever I want), I need to eat every 2-3 hours or (whenever and wherever I want), I need to have at least one personal assistant to clean me and change me (whenever and wherever I want), and I must be able to take breaks to jump in my Jumperoo...(whenever and wherever I want).  Oh, and by the way, Daddy, if you're reading this, JK.

Attacking Gus

Gus is one of my favorite stuffed animals. He's a ferocious lion! He thought he was attacking ME but I was really attacking him! 

Jumping to a little Eminem

I have to jump at least once in the morning and once in the afternoon, every day. I'm a jumping machine, jumping maniac, I love to jump! 

Mom and dad have tried to put some tot tunes on for me to jump to but I prefer Eminem instead. Great beat, lots of energy, not sure about the language but that's okay because I can't talk yet. 

Check out what happened to my toe! I was jumping so hard one day that I had a slight athletic injury. Didn't need balm or a wrap of any kind but now I have to wear socks when I jump, mom and dad said so.

Early Morning Fun

I usually get up before the sun comes up. This morning I was up and at em' at 5:15 and ready to play. Look, mom and I have the same expression on our faces. I have the most energy in the morning, I think I take after mom that way, she is a morning person too. We had so much fun playing this morning!
