Smiley Boy

I'm such a smiley boy lately. I smile at mommy and daddy all the time and talk back when they chat with me.

This picture used to be the main thing I'd smile at and talk to. Mommy and daddy call it my friend "Abro". They are confused how I know him but he is one of my best buddies.

Aren't I cute when I laugh??

Just call me mini Doppler

So word on the street is my daddy is nicknamed Double Dip Doppler because he knows everything about weather and is obsessed with snow. Well lucky for me I got to see this crazy white stuff before Thanksgiving this year. The only bad thing was it was too cold outside for me to go play in it most days. It got to the mid 20's, that's too cold for a 2 month old. So mom and I were unable to go on our walks but I'm sure we'll be able to again soon. On Thanksgiving morning it warmed up just enough for me to go outside and I realized that I love this white stuff just like my daddy!

We had Thanksgiving dinner over at our house this year.  Grandpa Brooking, Grandma Betty, and Grandma Mary all came over to eat.  Daddy got me all dressed up for our visitors and the holiday.

I am a bit confused though...I thought Thanksgiving came before Christmas...so I don't know why Mommy and Daddy put me in Christmas outfits already.

At least I keep them entertained by showing that I'm amused by the whole thing.

I'm 2 months!

I'm two months! But mom and dad, I'm ONLY two months. They think I'm a lot older than I am because I'm such a big boy! I am so excited to go see my doctor next week for a check up to see how much I've grown. I'm still working on my thumb and getting better and better each day. I still use my binky though when I get frustrated with my hands and when I'm trying to take a nap. I am smiling all the time and can carry on a strong conversation when talked to. I also love playing and reading books!
Probably my most favorite part about turning 2 months is that I get to have my daddy around more. He is a teacher but he gets to stay home with mommy and me from Thanksgiving through New Years, that is almost 40 days! It'll be nice to have both mommy and daddy to play with all day. One of the first things we did on my daddy's vacation was take a nice mid day nap.

Found his Thumb

Little guy has been working on that darn thumb for about a week now. Well this afternoon he finally found the solo thumb and it stuck, he was sucking the heck out of it! It was one of the cutest things I've ever seen! I was staring at him for about a half hour. He was going from sticking his whole fist in his mouth and then the thumb, the fist, frustration, back to the thumb until it stuck. We are happy about it too because this means less use of the pacifier. Pacifiers fall out, drop on the floor or get misplaced, thumbs never go away. I guess he takes after mom. I sucked my thumb too and I'm not saying until what age, it's embarrassing.

Eyelashes, Turtle, Smiles and more

Mommy and Daddy think I am the cutest thing alive! This picture proves it. I will be 2 months already next Tuesday, where does the time go? Mommy is glad to report that I have a nice, full set of eyelashes that have grown in and yet again, they are a trait taken after dad, not mom, thank goodness-she doesn't have much.

They also call me "Turtle" because I'm really working hard on strengthening my neck muscles to look around at everything in sight. With my beak sticking out and my neck extended, I guess I look like a turtle?

Smiles are my speciality. I give the most smiles in the morning when I first wake up, well-after I eat and get my diaper changed but after that I smile a lot! Daddy also said this morning that I've mastered "smiling with my eyes." Either way, I like to smile:) They just haven't been able to get me on camera yet for proof, I'll keep them waiting for a bit longer.....

1st Annual Halloween Week

Our little Pumpkin Pie, just want to eat him up!!

Not sure how this whole "week" started but it sure was fun! It started with Grandpa and Grandma Mason getting not one, but two Halloween costumes for Price. From 2, it turned into 7, with help from a little bit of imagination and props, and there you have a full week of fun and cuteness!

Day 1
Day 2
Day 3
Day 4
Day 5
Day 6 (I think my favorite, gotta love the margarita bucket)
Day 7
Grandma reading our skeleton his first Halloween book
