Boat Day!

Look at me and my new lifejacket Grandpa got me! And even more special is that I got to see my Grandpa 4 days in a row! After camping we went home and then my Grandpa came up to see me again the next day to take my other Grandpa, Grandpa Price's, boat out in the sound! Mommy and Daddy have been wanting to take his boat out for some time so it finally happened on a warm, sunny day. Grandpa Price bought this boat when my Uncle Howie was a baby so it's pretty old but still runs great! I had such a fun time but all the rocking put me to sleep!
ahhh, it's so relaxing to be out in the water!

My first camping trip!

And I loved every second of it! This is when we first woke up on the 1st morning at the Pot Holes. The weather was perfect, I slept like a baby...well, obviously and I got to spend lots of time with my Grandma and Grandpa along with my mom and dad.
This is right when we got to our campsite. I had my own chair!
This is on day two. My feet aren't so clean but I love it!
See me crawling around? I'm getting fast....
My stroller was my high chair for the trip.
I still got my books read to me by my daddy before bed
Grandpa and Grandma rented a boat for us to use for the day. I just loved being on the water, it was one giant kitchen sink.
This is my life jacket
We parked the boat and hung out on this beach. Mom, dad and Grandpa tried out fishing but didn't have much luck. I liked to hang out holding onto my umbrella and playing with my cups.
I didn't even have to wear a diaper. Free as a bird!
Driving home. Hope to go on another camping trip soon.

Crabbing in the summer rain

Today was a fun filled day at Camano Island with mom, dad, Grammie and Grant. We went out to Grant's cabin to catch some crab while the tide was really low. We were hoping for a sunny, warm beach day but not so much. Instead, it was windy, rainy and not so warm. But oh well, we did it anyway and ended up having a lot of fun hunting for crab. Unfortunately, we don't have hard evidence of any caught crab but I promise we got 3 nice sized crab. I can't eat them yet but mom and dad sure like them. Up above is a picture of me getting ready to get on dad's back for the walk along the beach hunting for crab.
This is Eric. He is Grant's 16 year old horse. Isn't he beautiful? I had a lot of fun meeting him. I want to come back some other time this summer to see him. Maybe I could ride him? I also saw chickens, a dog and mom and dad got so many yummy fruits and vegetables from his garden. Mom's favorite is the farm fresh eggs! What a fun day. Hope I get to go back soon.

Note from mom-baby getting so big

I'm sure this will be the first of many entries where I'll begin with, "how did he get so big?" Kadin and I say it about twice a day, "how did this happen?" He's not an infant anymore, he's a big boy! He's almost 10 months, which means it's almost his first birthday. I spent this morning making our list of guests for his 1st year birthday party. I know it's still over 2 months out but that will be here before I know it! ;)
We just got our 9 month pictures back from our photographer Jocelyn. We met on a sunny morning at the Bothell landing and she got some beautiful shots of our big boy. Look at him-standing by himself. When looking through these pictures we couldn't believe how we got here. We are a little family and a perfect one at that. Every morning we wake up to new things. He's pointing now at EVERYTHING wanting to know what it is. Latest obsessions: our chimney and his mobile that Grandma Betty made for him above his rocker. He's crawling more and wanting to explore everywhere! He LOVES his books. He whines when I close the book. I can't get the next book fast enough...he loves to eat. His new favorite is mango but still enjoys avocado, sweet potato, butternut squash and of course blueberries and bananas.
I love this picture because it's so him. Barefoot baby. Never wears shoes, socks he pulls off so barefoot pretty much rain or shine, hot or cold. Notice the little dirt on his foot, too cute. And his belly hanging out over his pants. He's our little man.
Loves his daddy. What a special summer we all get to have with daddy being home. He goes around saying "da-da" all day. Price doesn't even realize how lucky he is, or how lucky I am. Kadin said something out Price this morning that melted my heart, "I missed you last night while you were sleeping." I miss him too...we just can't get enough.
I woke up the other night really thirsty and hungry so I snagged an applesauce from the fridge. It reminded me of being pregnant with Price. I told Kadin I miss being pregnant. That nightly midnight snack was our little time together away from anyone else. It was special and I miss that. Not that I'm ready to have another baby this exact moment but soon....I just love being a mom, this is what I'm suppose to do.
This is one of my favorites. You can just tell already how he's going to be a heart breaker for the ladies...his blond hair and blue eyes.
Here are the rest of the pictures, we love them so much.

Blueberries!

I love Blueberries! They are sure yummy but they make my mouth blue. You may see a little green on my face. That's mom trying to give me green beans but I wasn't very interested...just give me my blueberries!

My New Face!

This is my new face. I squish up my nose and start snorting. It sure gets a good response, everyone laughs at me and says how silly I am. So I keep on doing it!

Happy 4th!

Happy 4th from a little Fire Cracker, that's me!
Okay, enough with the hat

I guess people light a bunch of fireworks off and they make loud noises and make pretty colors. Unfortunately, I was in bed by the time mom and dad watched the fireworks but it didn't matter I got to spend my 1st 4th with my Grandma down at her house. I even spent the night there like a big boy and slept well and everything. I didn't even hear the loud booms! Here is me and Grandma relaxing outside, the weather was awesome! I even got to swim in her hot tub.
It was getting kind of late, I am suppose to be already in bed but I couldn't sleep. I'd miss hanging out with everyone. I'm sitting here watching my dad play football with the neighbor kids. Just wait until I can walk and throw a football. I'll be the best!
